"Check-in scanning was more hassle than expected"
I used tickera for a small event, and setting up the tickets was mostly fine, so I thought check-in would be straightforward too. Their messaging makes it sound like everything will be smooth and simple, but that felt like one of those vague promises that doesn’t really hold up when people are actually waiting in line.
The scanner kept lagging, and a bunch of QR codes took two or three tries before they finally showed as valid. We had guests just standing there while we refreshed the app and tried again, which made us look unorganized even though we had done the setup ahead of time.

It did technically work in the end, but it wasn’t nearly reliable enough for a busy entry situation. I’d only consider using it again if they actually improve the scanning instead of just saying it’s fast and easy.

I was disappointed. It sounded like this would cover the basic event features I needed, but once I actually started using it, a lot of those basics just weren’t there. The promises made it seem much more complete than it really was.

"Too expensive and I don’t really trust it anymore"
It works fine for the most part, but the price feels way too high for what you actually get. The features are basic, and after paying that much, I expected more. It kind of made me lose trust in the company because it feels like they’re charging premium prices without offering a premium experience.

"Not very user-friendly"
I had a hard time using it. I couldn’t even figure out some of the basic features, which got frustrating quickly. For me, it’s not something I’d want to keep using unless it becomes a lot easier to navigate

"Has Anyone Else Had Trouble Getting Support?"
I reached out to support twice and both times the replies were slow, with no clear solution in the end. It felt like they were more focused on closing the ticket than actually fixing the issue. Not sure if this is just my experience, but I’d be curious if other people have had the same problem.

Getting it configured was kind of a hassle, and the docs weren’t super helpful. Once I got past that, though, it actually worked well.

"Ticket customization felt way too limited"
I bought tickera because I really wanted more control over how my tickets looked, i ended up frustrated. The customization options felt a lot more limited than I expected, and even small layout changes took way too much time. It felt annoying because I had a clear idea in my head, but I just couldn’t get the ticket to look right without constantly messing around with settings. After a while, it started to feel like more trouble than it was worth for me.

I used the Tickera docs while setting up tickets on my site, most of it was easy to follow. The setup steps were clear, and I found what I needed fairly quickly. A few sections could definitely use more real examples or screenshots, but overall, the documentation saved me time. Not perfect, but still solid.

"Works great with my WordPress site"
I got this set up on my WordPress site easily, and overall I’m really happy with it. I did run into one small issue along the way, but it wasn’t a big deal and everything has been working nicely since.

"Works, but I’m not sure I’d call it reliable"
I used Tickera for a small event, it was fine at first. It handled the basics, and I could check orders and tickets, but the site felt slow a few times while I was using it. Maybe it was just me, but it definitely made me a little nervous when I needed things to load quickly.

I also ran into some random page loading glitches here and there. Support did get back to me, which I appreciated, but it wasn’t exactly fast. Overall, it works, but I was kind of expecting it to feel smoother and more dependable, especially during an event setup

I had a frustrating time trying to get my payment gateway working with Tickera. I went through the docs first, but they didn’t really answer what I was running into, so I reached out to support hoping they could point me in the right direction.
The annoying part was that the replies kept sending me back through the same basic steps I had already tried, so it felt like I was stuck in a support loop instead of actually getting closer to a fix. Maybe it works smoothly for other people, but for me it ate up way too much time, especially since payments are kind of the whole point.
